German mobile operators roll out new low‑cost data plans

Telekom MagentaMobil O2 Unlimited M Flex SIMon 100GB deal Vodafone Mobil data increase German mobile tariffs

Telekom re‑introduced its MagentaMobil S offer, pairing a 30 GB LTE/5G all‑net flat for €39.95 per month with a free Apple MacBook Neo 2026 and up to €340 in combined cash‑back incentives. The deal is limited to new customers and ties‑in a 24‑month contract.

O2 launched a limited‑time “Unlimited M Flex” tariff at €29.99 per month, giving unlimited calls, SMS and up to 100 Mbit/s mobile internet in Germany and EU roaming, with only a one‑month minimum term and a €39.99 activation fee.

SIMon introduced a “Birthday‑Deal” that provides 100 GB of data (normally 80 GB) in the Vodafone network for €11.99 per month when the customer ports an existing number, or €14.99 for a new number. The plan is month‑to‑month with no activation or shipping charges.

Vodafone renamed its GigaMobil range to “Vodafone Mobil” and increased data caps across all tiers: XS from 7 GB to 15 GB, S from 25 GB to 30 GB, M from 50 GB to 60 GB, L to 120 GB and XL to unlimited. New free options include a World Travel add‑on (2 GB for over 100 countries) and a OneNumber Flex secondary SIM for the XL tier. The previous “GigaDepot” data‑rollover feature has been discontinued.
