Simon Sohm joins Venezia FC on loan from Fiorentina

Swiss midfielder Simon Sohm has been signed by Venezia FC on a loan deal that includes an option to purchase, acquiring him from Serie A club ACF Fiorentina.

Sohm, a product of FC Zürich’s youth system, made his senior debut in October 2018, later amassed 155 appearances for Parma, and moved to Fiorentina in the summer of 2025. After a short loan spell at Bologna in January 2026, he joins Venezia to add experience to the midfield. The player has earned four caps for the Swiss senior national team.
