Simona Governatori resigns from Noi Moderati leadership in Viterbo

Simona Governatori has resigned from all positions within the Noi Moderati party, including her role as the coordinator for Viterbo and its province. She formalized her irrevocable resignation on September 18 via official channels.

Governatori stated that her decision was driven by personal reasons and emphasized that “before ideologies come people.” While she confirmed a clear break from Noi Moderati, she noted that her political commitment to the territory remains unchanged and that she intends to remain active in upcoming elections. She indicated that details regarding her future political path and a new political affiliation will be revealed in an upcoming press conference.

Marco Di Stefano, the regional coordinator for Noi Moderati, has assumed the role of commissioner for the province to manage the party's operations following her departure. Di Stefano expressed gratitude for Governatori's work during her tenure.
