Simona Krainová and family hospitalized in Dubai due to severe virus

Model Simona Krainová and her family have been hospitalized in Dubai after being struck by a severe viral infection. Krainová, who referred to the illness as the ‘Dubai flu’ on social media, reported that the virus caused high fevers of up to 40 degrees Celsius, coughing, and intense body aches.

The illness affected her entire household, starting with her son Max, followed by her husband Karel, Krainová herself, and finally her younger son Bruno. Initially, the family attempted to manage the symptoms at home using local medical services, including a home visit from a doctor and nurse and medication delivered via courier. However, as symptoms persisted and fevers returned, they required hospital care.

Krainová described the physical and emotional exhaustion of caring for her sick children while battling the virus herself. Other public figures have noted similar experiences with recurring viral outbreaks in various emirates.
