Simona Ventura and Giovanni Terzi tie the knot and launch community hub in Rimini

Television presenter Simona Ventura (61) and journalist Giovanni Terzi (62) were married on 6 July 2024 at the Grand Hotel in Rimini, a city they describe as their home. Their relationship with Rimini began in childhood for Ventura and deepened after meeting Terzi in 2019, leading to the wedding ceremony at the historic hotel.

In 2020 the couple, together with Paola Batani, revived the Grand Hotel’s communication and created the initiative “La Terrazza della Dolce Vita”. The project turned the hotel’s terrace into a community space that hosts families, friends and visitors, involving hundreds of participants each year. Ventura and Terzi say they intend to spend their retirement in Rimini, passing the venue on to future generations.

The story highlights how a personal love story intertwined with a local cultural and tourism effort, reinforcing Rimini’s reputation as a vibrant seaside destination.
