Simone Azzu to present debut novel in Alghero

Author Simone Azzu will visit Alghero on Monday, August 24, to present his debut novel, ‘Albergo Savoia’ (Il maestrale). The event is part of the ‘Llibres Libres’ series organized by the Itinerandia Association in collaboration with Libreria Cyrano.

The presentation will take place at 21:00 in the outdoor space of Libreria Cyrano, featuring a dialogue between Azzu and Alessandro De Roma.

Azzu is a playwright, director, and performer who has received the XXIII Museo Cervi Prize for Teatro per la Memoria. His debut novel explores the social divisions of a coastal Sardinian city, contrasting the bourgeois ambitions centered around the Albergo Savoia with the lives of those gathered at the Bar Delfino.
