Simone Cristicchi to perform Orcolat ’76 in Trieste

Simone Cristicchi will perform “Orcolat ’76” at the Politeama Rossetti in Trieste on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The production features two scheduled performances at 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Originally created for the 40th anniversary of the 1976 Friuli earthquake, the show has been adapted into an oratorio format. Directed by Maestro Valter Sivilotti, the performance includes the Coro del Friuli Venezia Giulia and the FVG Orchestra. The production utilizes historical Friulian songs alongside original compositions based on texts by Renato Stroili and Cristicchi to recount the devastating events of May 6, 1976, and the subsequent regional rebirth.
