Simone Gupta departs Supermassive agency

Simone Gupta has departed Supermassive, the independent creative agency she co-founded in June 2023 alongside Laura Aldington and Jon Austin. The departure is described by the founders as an amicable decision as Gupta moves toward a new professional chapter.

During her three-year tenure, Supermassive established itself as one of Australia’s first majority female-founded agencies, focusing on non-traditional advertising and earned media. Notable projects included the ‘Crime Interrupted’ podcast for the Australian Federal Police and the ‘36 Months’ social change campaign, which advocated for raising Australia’s minimum social media age from 13 to 16. The latter initiative received recognition at Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia.

Gupta previously held senior leadership roles at Havas, including CEO of Havas PR, and has over twenty years of experience advising global brands and leadership teams across Australia, the UK, EMEA, and the USA.
