Simone Johnson expresses desire to return to professional wrestling

Former WWE NXT General Manager Simone “Ava” Johnson expressed her desire to return to in-ring professional wrestling. Speaking on the “What Do You Want To Talk About?” podcast with Cody Rhodes, Johnson noted that she misses competing but must first address several injuries.

Johnson, who performed as Ava Raine during her time in NXT, explained that her decision to leave WWE following the expiration of her contract in February was difficult. She cited a lack of perceived opportunities for growth as a primary reason for her departure, rather than company politics.
