Simposar conference gathers international sports legends in Sarajevo

The Simposar conference, an international sporting event held in Sarajevo, has marked 15 years of operation. Since its inception in 2011, the event has grown from a regional project into a global gathering that attracts coaches, experts, and sporting legends from over 20 countries.

Olympic medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee attended the event, emphasizing the role of sport in youth development. She advised that young people should be allowed to explore various physical activities to find their passion rather than being directed toward a specific sport too early. The conference program features various regional and international sports figures, including Hasan Salihamidžić and Vahid Halilhodžić.
