Sinaloa Governor launches support program for Culiacán market vendors

Sinaloa Governor Graciela Domínguez Nava has launched “Nuestro Tianguis,” a new initiative under the Equipa Sinaloa program designed to support local market vendors in Culiacán. The program aims to dignify the work of traditional street merchants and promote self-employment by providing essential equipment to improve business operations.

During the launch, 350 beneficiaries in the state capital received packages including tents, tables, and chairs. The initiative involved an investment of over 736,000 pesos, with 284 of the recipients being women. The program targets various sectors of the city, including Los Huizaches, Terrones, and Felipe Ángeles, to bolster local economic dynamism and preserve the cultural heritage of traditional markets.
