Sinaloa honors cultural and tourism excellence with Orgullo Sinaloense awards

The Sinaloa state government, through the Secretariat of Tourism, held the ‘Orgullo Sinaloense 2026’ awards ceremony in Culiacán to recognize cultural and tourism excellence within the state.

Mocorito received the award for Best Intangible Heritage for its Chilorio, a representative element of the region's gastronomic and cultural wealth. In El Fuerte, the Hotel Posada del Hidalgo was named Best Hotel in a Pueblo Mágico, and artisan Manuel García Moya of Artesanías de Mochicahui was honored as the Best Artisan.

The initiative, established in 2023, aims to promote Sinaloa as a premier destination by highlighting the people, businesses, and cultural expressions that strengthen the state's identity.
