Sinaloa municipal leaders address community needs and utility reforms
In Sinaloa, local government officials are addressing community needs and administrative reforms. In Mocorito, Mayor Enrique Parra Melecio visited the Emiliano Zapata elementary school in the Pericos community. The visit follows commitments made during a recent open council meeting to directly assess the school's conditions after parents raised specific institutional needs.
In Ahome, the municipal council approved a discount program for JAPAMA water utility users intended to improve the agency's financial resources. Additionally, the council approved a 750,000 peso budget for scholarships to support 25 cadets during their six-month initial training course. The administration is also reviewing municipal regulations to facilitate administrative simplification and digitalization.
