Sinaloa officials launch new security initiatives in Mazatlán

Sinaloa Governor Graciela Domínguez Nava has announced the development of an Integral Plan for Security and Governance designed to restore peace and public confidence across the state. The Governor emphasized that the plan will be built through consultation with various sectors, including meetings with hotel associations in Mazatlán, to ensure the strategy addresses the specific needs of the community.

In Mazatlán, Gabino Ulises Jacobo Guerrero has assumed the role of Municipal Secretary of Public Security. His administration aims to reduce crime rates by implementing a strategy focused on intelligence, investigation, and coordination across different levels of government. Jacobo Guerrero noted that his immediate priority is mapping high-crime areas to design targeted interventions and urged citizens to increase reporting of criminal activities to improve response times.
