Sinaloa officials meet with Culiacán merchants to discuss equipment needs

The Sinaloa Secretary of Economy, Diego Aguerrebere, met with members of the Unión de Comerciantes de Culiacán to address the equipment needs of small businesses in Culiacán's city center.

To facilitate support, officials proposed organizing a census to identify specific requirements. This data will be used to channel requests through the ‘Equipa Sinaloa’ program. The initiative aims to provide merchants, including those at Mercado Garmendia, with essential tools such as refrigerators, scales, and other productive equipment to modernize their sales processes.

Óscar Sánchez Beltrán, head of the merchants' union, noted that the group is seeking assistance for vulnerable sectors most affected by economic conditions, particularly within the city's historic commercial center.
