Sinaloa State Congress approves 639 million peso budget for 2027
The Sinaloa State Congress has approved the 2027 Expenditure Budget for the Legislative Power, totaling 639,488,083 pesos. The decision was made during an extraordinary session in accordance with state budget and financial responsibility laws.
The approved budget allocates 412,532,582 pesos to the State Congress, 210,509,996 pesos to the Superior Auditor of the State, and 16,445,505 pesos for the institution's retirees and pensioners.
The expenditure is intended to follow principles of austerity, discipline, and rationality. Oversight will be provided by the Internal Control Body, the Superior Auditor of the State, the Federal Superior Auditor, and the Political Coordination Board. Following the approval, the President of the Board of Directors, Deputy Juan Diego Aranzubia Iturrios, ordered the notification of the State Secretariat of Administration and Finance.
