Sinaloa to host four regional sports disciplines in 2027

Sinaloa has been selected to host the 2027 regional stage for four sporting disciplines: athletics, boxing, indoor volleyball, and tennis. José Daniel Castro Rojo, director of High Performance at the Sinaloa Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (ISDE), announced the decision following a coordination meeting with states in Region 1, including Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, and Chihuahua.

The state's infrastructure will support the events, with the athletics track, boxing gym, and High Performance Center prepared for competition. Tennis matches are expected to take place at Club Colinas. The competitions are tentatively scheduled for February and March 2027, with final dates and logistical details regarding housing, food, and transportation to be determined in upcoming meetings.
