Sinan Kolat establishes high-tech livestock farm in Kırklareli
Entrepreneur Sinan Kolat has established a modern livestock farm in the Deveçatağı village of Kırklareli, Turkey, focusing on improving cattle genetics through the production of domestic bull semen. A graduate of Robert College and Sabancı University, Kolat transitioned from the tourism and construction sectors to agriculture in 2013 using livestock credits.
Starting with 580 pregnant heifers, the farm has expanded to a total livestock population of 3,100, including 1,100 milking animals. The facility produces approximately 42 tons of milk daily and utilizes advanced technologies such as robotic milking systems, genetic testing, and embryo transfer to enhance efficiency and production.
