SIND Ungdom receives 1 million DKK to support mentally vulnerable youth
SIND Ungdom has been awarded a 1 million DKK grant from LB Foreningen to expand its support communities for mentally vulnerable young people across Denmark. The funding aims to strengthen social connections, reduce loneliness, and support the personal development of youth who may not require clinical treatment but struggle with social integration, education, or work.
The organization plans to use the funds to expand its reach to all Danish regions, specifically including North Jutland. Currently operating 12 active youth communities, SIND Ungdom expects to increase this number to 15 by 2027. These communities provide a space for young people to connect with peers and volunteers, offering a sense of belonging outside of formal medical systems.
