Sindh Minister orders accelerated construction of Karachi BRT and infrastructure

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has ordered the acceleration of several key infrastructure and public service projects in Sindh. During a high-level meeting regarding the Yellow Line BRT project, Memon directed officials to expedite the construction of the BRT depot and the second section of the Jam Sadiq Bridge to ensure the mass-transit scheme remains on schedule. The meeting included representatives from the World Bank and the Sindh Mass Transit Authority.

Beyond transportation, the Sindh government is implementing several modernization initiatives. This includes the use of blockchain technology to secure land records and increase transparency. In the healthcare sector, a new 445-bed medical tower is being established at the National Institute of Child Health in collaboration with the Edhi Foundation. Additionally, the government is focusing on educational priorities such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics to support the province's youth.
