Sindh province links educational boards with NADRA

The Sindh government has signed an agreement with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to integrate all provincial educational boards into a secure digital system. This initiative, part of the Academic Record Integration Project, makes Sindh the first province in Pakistan to implement such a connection.

The project aims to prevent academic fraud, including the use of fake degrees and impersonation during examinations. To ensure accuracy, a mechanism will be developed to assign a unique identification number to every student, facilitating the verification of academic records.

Under the new agreement, students will be able to access their verified educational certificates through the Pak ID mobile application. NADRA Karachi Director General Aamir Ali Khan stated that the authority will provide this integration facility to all educational boards free of charge.
