Sinergia releases surrealist music video addressing social pressure

The Chilean band Sinergia has released a new music video for their song ‘Me va a Dar...’, utilizing surrealist imagery to depict the stresses of daily life and social pressure. The production is framed through a fictional report from a ‘Ministry of Patience’.

Set in a warehouse around an unsupervised boiling pressure cooker, the video features synchronized dancers in pink and band members wearing red overalls with translucent head structures. The visual narrative includes distorted realities, such as people with boiling pot heads and oversized everyday objects, contrasting these anomalies with the mundane continuation of public transport and people focused on their mobile devices.

The project was directed by Andrés Godoy with visual production by Perla Producciones Film. The video concludes with a circular march and a chorus repeating the phrase ‘Me va a dar la locura’ (It is going to drive me crazy), symbolizing a collective catharsis.
