Sines worker dies after falling from roof

A 65-year-old man died following a workplace accident in Sines, Portugal, after falling approximately six meters from a roof. The incident occurred in the Rua F area of the Zona Industrial Ligeira 2 (ZIL2).

Emergency services, including the Sines fire department, INEM, and the GNR, responded to the scene. The death was confirmed on-site by a medical professional from the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano's emergency vehicle. The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) has been notified to investigate the circumstances of the fall and determine if there were any safety failures or labor irregularities.
