SINEXCEL and AESC Forge Strategic Energy Storage Partnerships in Japan and Global Markets

SINEXCEL (300693.SZ) and Tokyo‑based clean‑energy developer Namcha Barwa have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop and execute utility‑scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Japan. The partnership combines Namcha Barwa’s project development and grid‑connection expertise with SINEXCEL’s utility‑scale power conversion systems, engineering and localized after‑sales support. Since January 2026, eight 2 MW/8 MWh BESS installations have been commissioned in six Japanese prefectures, and SINEXCEL has established a Japanese subsidiary with a local parts warehouse and service team.

AESC, a global high‑performance battery and energy‑storage manufacturer, and Prevalon Energy – a joint venture of Mitsubishi Power Americas and Energy Endeavour Solutions – announced a strategic supply agreement under which AESC will provide battery cells and modules for more than 10 GWh of utility‑scale storage deployments over the next three years. The deal supports Prevalon’s Energy Storage Platform for renewable‑energy integration, grid reliability and data‑center power applications worldwide. AESC brings a worldwide manufacturing footprint and has delivered over 100 GWh to more than 400 projects, while Prevalon has already deployed over 6 GWh across 35 projects.
