Singapore Airlines expands Adelaide service to record 12 weekly flights
Singapore Airlines has increased its service to Adelaide, launching a record 12 weekly flights effective October 25, 2026. This expansion adds 1,328 extra seats to the market per week, making it the first international carrier to offer such frequent year-round service from the South Australian capital.
The increased schedule provides enhanced connectivity through Singapore’s Changi Airport, offering passengers improved access to Asia, Europe, and other global destinations. Beyond passenger travel, the expansion provides additional cargo capacity, which is expected to benefit South Australian exporters of premium products such as fresh seafood and meat.
Adelaide Airport Managing Director Brenton Cox noted that the move offers unprecedented flexibility for travelers and reliable connectivity for local industries. The expansion follows a significant rise in tourism, with visitors from Singapore spending approximately $73 million in the state in the year leading to June 2026.
