Singapore auctions luxury goods seized in S$3 billion money laundering case
Singapore has commenced the auction of luxury goods seized during a S$3 billion money laundering investigation. The liquidation process, overseen by professional services firm Deloitte, involves a series of 15 timed, online-only auctions managed by the auction house Hotlotz.
The auction series is scheduled to run from September 2026 through May 2027. The initial phase includes two distinct auctions: one for fine jewellery featuring brands such as Bulgari, Graff, and Van Cleef & Arpels, and another for luxury handbags and accessories from brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Dior.
Subsequent sales will feature high-end watches from makers like Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Richard Mille, as well as Hermès handbags. In addition to these luxury items, more than 80 properties linked to the illicit financial network are slated for progressive public sale. The auctions are open to global participants, subject to mandatory identity verification.
