Singapore consumers plan majority of holiday shopping online
According to the Holiday Shopping Singapore 2026 Report by Integral Ad Science (IAS), approximately 70% of Singaporean consumers intend to conduct most or all of their holiday shopping online this year. This represents a decrease from the 76% recorded in 2025.
Despite the decline in online preference, 81% of consumers plan to maintain or increase their holiday spending budgets. Mobile devices remain the primary shopping tool, with 71% of respondents identifying them as their most-used device.
The report notes a downward trend in planned increases for digital channel use across social media, e-commerce sites, and video. Additionally, while 67% of consumers remain open to AI-assisted shopping, interest in using AI specifically for product and gift research has fallen to 22% from 27% the previous year. However, 30% of shoppers expect to increase their use of AI tools during the upcoming season.
