Singapore Cruise Centre opens new Harbourfront terminal
The Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) has officially launched its new terminal at Harbourfront, marking the end of a 35-year period operating from the Harbourfront Centre. The transition follows a 24-month development and testing phase.
Since beginning full operations on July 15, 2026, the new facility has processed more than 720,000 ferry and cruise passengers. The terminal is designed to enhance the traveler experience through improved space planning, automation, and passenger-centric amenities such as self-service kiosks and baggage depots.
A central feature of the facility is a new interoperable departure control system developed by SCC in partnership with travel technology company Sqiva. This system, built on the Cruise and Ferry Operating System (CFOS), integrates ferry and cruise operations onto a single platform and works with SITA’s FAST self-service solutions to streamline boarding and processing.
