Singapore Management University students share international exchange experiences

Students at Singapore Management University (SMU) are sharing their experiences with international exchange and short-term study programmes to highlight the benefits of global exposure.

Lilou Lauret, an Australian New Colombo Plan Scholar, completed a law exchange at SMU. After studying subjects such as Employment Law and Intellectual Property Law, she chose to remain in Singapore for an additional six months under a Work Holiday Pass to continue exploring the region.

Jodi Kam, a business student, utilized a two-week Short-Term Study Programme at Vietnam National University in Hanoi to build the confidence necessary for further international study. This initial experience in an emerging-market context led her to pursue a subsequent semester-long exchange in the Netherlands.
