Singapore National Day 2026 Parade Shifts to Kallang Stadium as Global Festivities Expand

Singapore’s 61st National Day on 9 August 2026 will see the National Day Parade return to the National Stadium in Kallang, with fireworks and the flag fly‑past moving from Marina Bay to Kallang Basin. The change offers a new viewing experience for residents and visitors.

The holiday is accompanied by a slate of promotions and events across the city‑state, including the Light Together Bras Basah art installations, the revival of the historic Ka‑Soh fish‑soup stall by Tanglin Cookhouse, and the Majulah Mess family‑friendly gathering at Dempsey. Frasers House’s three restaurants will each showcase local flavours during the weekend.

Singaporean communities abroad, particularly in the United States, mark the day with community dinners, cultural performances and home‑cooked Singaporean dishes. Associations in cities such as New York, San Francisco and Houston organise gatherings, while the official parade is livestreamed for overseas viewers.
