Singapore Science Park hosts Flavours of Tomorrow food lab

Singapore Science Park, in collaboration with Innovate 360, is hosting the third edition of Flavours of Tomorrow: The Future Food Lab at Geneo from November 5 to 7. The event aims to transition food research from private laboratories into a public-facing space through themed experience rooms, a retail marketplace, and chef demonstrations.

A central feature of this year's program is the debut of the Global Agrifood Innovation Championship. This competition features 30 startups from seven countries, including Singapore, the US, the UK, Canada, Spain, Thailand, and South Korea. Participants will pitch in a format inspired by a boxing ring for a chance to win up to S$15,000 in cash prizes.

Beyond immediate cash awards, the championship provides access to an aggregated investment pool of approximately S$1 million contributed by a panel of investor judges. The judging panel includes representatives from Nestlé, Glico Asia Pacific, Foodland Ventures, AgFunder, Hatch Blue, and Thai Union Group. The competition focuses on whether agri-food innovations can scale both effectively and sustainably.
