Singapore’s 50 richest individuals reach US$239 billion in wealth

The total wealth of Singapore’s 50 richest individuals reached approximately US$239 billion in 2026. While the overall figure remained relatively stable amid geopolitical uncertainty, 35 people on the list saw an increase in their net worth compared to the previous year.

Eduardo Saverin, a Facebook co-founder, remains the wealthiest person in Singapore for the fourth consecutive year. However, his wealth decreased by US$10.1 billion to US$32.9 billion, driven by a 25 percent decline in Meta Platforms' stock value following a drop in quarterly net profits and rising AI infrastructure costs.

Property tycoon Kwek Leng Beng maintained his position as the second wealthiest individual, with his family wealth increasing by US$1.8 billion to US$16.1 billion through City Developments. The brothers Robert and Philip Ng also remain among the top three wealthiest residents.
