Singapore's OCBC and Business Federation Boost Tech and Financing Support for Companies

Oversea‑Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) has signed a partnership with Beijing state‑owned ZGC International, giving the bank direct access to ZGC’s network of more than 14,000 Chinese technology firms. The collaboration targets companies in artificial intelligence, life sciences, software services and advanced manufacturing, aiming to help them expand into ASEAN markets with financing, market access and business networks.

Separately, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) chairman Mark Lee announced that the federation will act as the first port of call for companies seeking financing, artificial‑intelligence adoption and overseas growth. Lee, who leads the apex business chamber of over 34,000 members, emphasized SBF’s role in providing practical support beyond representation, drawing on his own experience expanding the family‑owned Sing Lun group.

Both initiatives reflect Singapore’s push to position itself as a hub for Chinese tech firms entering the region and to strengthen domestic companies’ access to capital and technology resources.
