2Baba and Natasha Osawaru face marital crisis after Abuja club incident

Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, are facing a public marital crisis following a reported confrontation at the opening of 90s Lounge in Abuja. Reports and social media footage suggest that Osawaru arrived at the venue with an entourage and demanded to see the singer, leading to a tense scene outside his vehicle. While some accounts claim the incident involved an attempt to forcibly take the singer away, others suggest 2Baba eventually escorted Osawaru inside to prevent further public commotion.

Following the incident, 2Baba addressed the situation during a concert, stating he had decided “not to dey look for trouble again.” He also unfollowed Osawaru on Instagram, while simultaneously refollowing his former wife, Annie Macaulay. Osawaru has since confirmed they are experiencing a marital crisis but maintains that the couple is fine.

The relationship has been subject to ongoing scrutiny since the couple married in July 2025, following 2Baba's separation from Macaulay in early 2025. Previous tensions, including a reported altercation in London in late 2025, have contributed to the sustained public interest in their union.
