Singer Alinne Rosa has filed a police report after being assaulted during a performance at the Fortal festival in Fortaleza, Brazil. On July 23, a man in a VIP box threw a plastic cup at the singer's face while she was performing on a musical float.

The impact hit the area around her eyes, though the singer's sunglasses helped mitigate potential injury. Footage of the incident circulated on social media, showing the individual laughing after the object was thrown. Rosa continued her performance following the event.

Rosa stated that her decision to involve authorities is intended to prevent the normalization of violence, particularly against women. She expressed a desire for the legal process to result in social and educational consequences for the perpetrator, suggesting community service at institutions supporting women and the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
