Singer Belo injured during filming of Arcanjo Renegado

Singer and actor Belo sustained a minor hand injury during the filming of the sixth season of the police series Arcanjo Renegado in Rio de Janeiro. The incident occurred during an action sequence involving a simulated shootout in Rocinha, where the artist was filming inside a ‘caveirão’, an armored vehicle used by the Military Police.

Reports indicate the injury was caused by a special effects pyrotechnic device, resulting in a small cut and a burn on his finger. While the incident required the attention of nursing and fire department teams, both the artist's representatives and the production company, AfroReggae Audiovisual, have minimized the severity of the event.

Filming has continued as scheduled, and Belo remains part of the cast. In the series, he portrays Inspector Silvio, also known as Paulista.
