Singer Chen Li harassed at Aranya Ximi Music Festival

Singer Chen Li was involved in a sexual harassment incident at the Aranya Ximi Music Festival in Qinhuangdao. Video footage circulating online shows a man identified as Ryan, a long-time friend of singer Faye Wong, approaching Chen from behind and making unwanted physical contact, including touching her chest.

Chen Li reacted by pushing the man away and expressing her displeasure. Witnesses noted that Faye Wong, who was present at the festival, appeared to notice the situation and attempted to intervene by pulling Chen away and signaling the group to leave the area.

Following the backlash on social media, Ryan issued an apology, stating he had drunk too much and that while they were acquaintances, he had crossed a line. Chen Li subsequently posted that Ryan had apologized to her and requested that the incident not involve uninvolved parties, noting that the situation was exacerbated by alcohol consumption.
