Singer Dr Iggy discusses 1990s earnings and criminal associations
Singer Igor Todorović, known as Dr Iggy, has shared reflections on his career during the 1990s, specifically regarding his financial earnings and his interactions with controversial nightclub owners.
Todorović noted that while some nightclub owners during his peak popularity were considered criminals, they were often professional and respectful in their dealings with him. However, he stated that he faced the most financial deception in Sutomore, Montenegro, where individuals owed him money on several occasions.
Reflecting on his immense wealth at the time, Todorović described earning approximately 50,000 marks per month, an amount he equated to much higher modern values. He mentioned spending the money on vehicles, a motorboat, and hosting large groups of people, but maintained that he remained humble due to advice from an older friend. He also spoke about how personal losses have fundamentally changed his perspective on life.
