Singer Erik faces controversy on ‘Sao nhập ngũ 2026’

Singer Erik (born Lê Trung Thành) has faced public criticism following the first two episodes of the reality program ‘Sao nhập ngũ 2026’. Viewers have raised concerns regarding his conduct in a military environment, specifically citing his hesitation to cut his hair, bringing excessive personal items such as cosmetics and a facial massager, and receiving reminders regarding punctuality.

In response to the controversy, the program’s general director, Lương Hải Khoa, defended the singer. Khoa noted that Erik had only been in the military environment for four hours at the time of the broadcast, suggesting it may be premature to judge his ability to adapt.

The director explained that Erik’s focus on his appearance stems from a desire to maintain his professional image for his audience rather than mere vanity. Khoa added that the singer’s candid nature and inability to hide his emotions may have contributed to the controversial moments captured on screen, and he requested that the audience allow Erik time to adjust to the discipline of military life.
