Singer Goran Maksimović, 26, died following a severe traffic accident in Slatina near Šabac. The incident occurred around 6:20 AM as Maksimović was returning from the Šabac fair with his wife and friends.

Reports indicate the vehicle left the roadway at high speed, leaving three other occupants trapped. While bystanders managed to extract one passenger to provide initial aid, all passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital. Maksimović's funeral is scheduled for Thursday at 12:00 PM in the village of Gorice.

Maksimović was known for performing traditional Krajina melodies and worked with the Tika Taka band. He had performed at the Šabac fair only hours before the tragedy.
