Singer Ho Van Cuong achieves success after humble beginnings

Vietnamese singer Ho Van Cuong, born in 2003, has achieved significant material success after ten years of professional effort. At age 22, the former Vietnam Idol Kids 2016 winner now owns a multi-billion dong home in Ho Chi Minh City.

Originally from a poor farming family in Tien Giang, Cuong began singing at local weddings in sixth grade to support his parents. His career gained momentum in 2016 when he won the Vietnam Idol Kids competition. Following his victory, he was adopted and mentored by the late singer Phi Nhung.

After Phi Nhung's passing in 2021, Cuong chose to pursue an independent career. Supported by singer Ngoc Son and manager Thuy, he maintains a regular schedule of live performances and tea room shows while completing his final year as a Marketing student at Hoa Sen University.
