Singer Jador discusses childhood financial hardships
Romanian singer Jador shared details about his difficult upbringing during a recent podcast appearance. He described facing significant financial hardships during his high school years, noting that his father provided him with only 40 lei per week.
He explained that a large portion of this allowance was consumed by transportation costs, leaving very little for food. Jador recounted that after paying 18 lei for bus fare, he was left with 22 lei for the week. He noted that even a 3-lei sandwich was often insufficient to satisfy his hunger, leading to extreme measures to cope with starvation.
Reflecting on his current life, the artist expressed a desire to provide a different experience for his own family. He is married to Oana Ciocan, and they have one son, Avraam. Jador stated his wish to have three more children, mentioning specific names he has chosen: Isaac, Iaacov, and Esa.
