She revealed that after years of working multiple jobs—including labor in factories and performing at nightclubs to make ends meet—she had accumulated a fortune of approximately 100 billion won.

However, Kim Yeon Ja disclosed that she lost her entire wealth after being defrauded by her husband, Kim Ho Sik. Following the loss of her assets, she underwent a bitter divorce and was left with nothing. She reflected on her early struggles, noting that she moved to Seoul alone at age 15 and spent four years balancing factory work with late-night singing performances before achieving professional success.
