Singer Kora to release new single 'Derealizzare' following X Factor exit

Italian singer Kora, born Benedetta Cornalba, has announced the release of her new single, ‘Derealizzare’, scheduled for October 23. The autobiographical track, released via Nuova Storia and distributed by Ada Music Italy, explores themes of isolation, loneliness, and emotional vulnerability.

Kora’s departure from X Factor 2026 occurred during the ‘Last Call’ stage, where she performed a cover of ‘8 Miliardi di Persone’. During the competition, she experienced a moment of physical distress due to tachycardia, which she noted impacted her performance and left her feeling vulnerable.

The artist will perform the new song live during the Comete evening at Salone14 at YellowSquare in Milan. Kora, who was part of Irama’s team during the talent show, previously released tracks such as ‘Phantom’, ‘Voci’, and ‘Cellophane’ in 2025, and ‘Silhouette’ in 2026.
