Singer María Parrado donates €15,000 prize to Chiclana autism association

María Parrado, the Chiclana‑born singer who finished second on Antena 3’s talent show “Tu cara me suena”, handed over the €15,000 prize she received to the Asociación de Familiares de Niños con Autismo de Chiclana (AFNACHI). The ceremony was attended by the city mayor José María Román and the delegate of Social Services, Francis Salado. AFNACHI president Ana Isabel Gutiérrez said the donation will allow the organisation to launch additional workshops, improve its facilities and better support children with autism and their families.

Parrado explained that she chose to give the money to AFNACHI because of her previous involvement with the group during a Christmas activity, describing the contribution as a “gran gran” help for the association.
