Singer MC Gui was the victim of an armed robbery during the early hours of Friday in Campina Grande, Paraíba. The incident occurred at a vaquejada event while the artist and vaqueiro Nathan Queiroz, also known as Capa Loka, were resting in a truck.
According to reports, four armed men approached the vehicle under the pretense that horses had escaped. Once the truck's handlers opened the door, the suspects rendered them at gunpoint and entered the sleeping quarters. The criminals stole a watch valued between R$ 10,000 and R$ 15,000, a gold ring, and a gold chain belonging to Queiroz.
Although the robbery lasted approximately three minutes and involved threats with firearms, no physical injuries were reported. MC Gui stated on social media that while he is physically well, he is psychologically shaken by the event. Following the robbery, the singer decided to withdraw from the event and return home.
