Singer Mãeana discusses freedom and inheritance for her children

Singer Mãeana, wife of Bem Gil, has sparked discussion regarding her approach to raising their two children, Dom (14) and Sereno (9). During an appearance on the podcast ‘Desculpincomodar’, she stated that because the children are heirs, they possess financial security that allows them the freedom to decide their professional and personal paths without early pressure.

Mãeana explained that she tells her children, “You will be whatever you want, whenever you want.” She noted that this philosophy is influenced by her own upbringing, which she described as being marked by heavy family expectations and pressure. By contrast, she intends to provide her children with the space to discover their interests at their own pace, a perspective she has shared with her husband, Bem Gil.
