Andrea Berg celebrates career milestones with new album and TV appearance

German Schlager singer Andrea Berg is celebrating her career milestones with the release of a new best-of album, ‘Das Rekord-Album – Das kann uns keiner nehmen’, scheduled for October 9. The collection features 34 tracks, including re-recorded versions and previously unreleased songs. Berg recently shared a nostalgic look at her beginnings in a cover band via Instagram.

In a recent appearance on the late-night show ‘Inas Nacht’, Berg discussed her musical origins, her travels to Las Vegas for stage inspiration, and her family’s hotel business in Baden-Württemberg. The episode also featured musical performances by Peter Maffay and Johannes Oerding, who presented a song from their collaborative album ‘Nashville’.

In separate news, the music community is mourning the death of singer Michael Thilo (born Michael Tilo Amft), who passed away at age 81. He was well known for singing the original title song for the ‘Benjamin-Blümchen’ audio plays and achieved success in both the GDR and West Germany.
