In interviews with media outlets including RTL and ARD, Michelle described the breakup as deeply painful, stating, “I really thought I had physical pain, I felt like I went through all hell.” She expressed a significant loss of trust, noting that her ability to trust a new partner has been shaken because her “trust was massively broken.”

Following her official retirement from the stage in June 2026, Michelle indicated that she is currently focusing on herself rather than seeking new relationships. When asked about flirting at the event, she responded, “I think I don’t want that anymore,” explaining that the situation is still too fresh.
