In a podcast appearance on ‘Ungefiltert On Fire’, the 54-year-old artist discussed her struggles with depression and anxiety, stating, “The person I simply don't want to be anymore.” She also revealed past domestic trauma, noting that she and her mother previously sought refuge in women's shelters due to her father's brutality.

Following her official retirement from the stage in June 2026, Michelle is transitioning into new pursuits, including work as a healer. She also addressed the end of her relationship with Eric Philippi, which concluded despite a second engagement earlier in 2026. Speaking at ‘HeidiFest’, she expressed that the breakup is still too fresh to consider new romantic interests, stating, “I don't think I'm capable of that anymore. Honestly.”
